| Hi, anybody out there who managed to get Digipan up and running with the Flex 3k? I tried the MIXW settings as described in the manual, but cannot get Digipan to key the Flex. Any ideas, help is welcome. vy 73, Matthias DF2OF

Hi Matthias,
I have been running Digipan 2.0 with my Flex-3000 for several months now. Works very well. I am not familiar with MixW settings, so I can't help by relating to those.
I have VAC and com0com loaded on my laptop and have had no problems keying the 3000.
My Digipan PTT interface is currently set to COM8 with RTS as PTT.
Occasionally when I first start Digipan or Fldigi, I have to re-select the correct VAC assignments. Then all is normal on the waterfall.

| Hi Pete, thanks for the reply! Then there is still hope to get it to work. MIXW is to overloaded for me. I have installed the correct VAC version and N8HY driver for COM ports on my laptop (IBM Thinkpad X60s). I don't know com0com, will google for it and try your settings. H again Matthias,
Just for information, last night I used Digipan, Fldigi, and MultiPSK. All worked just fine, no problems keying the Flex-3000.
Remember to check the Flex Knowledge Center for set up of com0com... com0com is on SourceForge and it is free. I use the Virtual Port Pair 0 -- 18 and 8 and the Virtual Port Pair 1 -- 19 and 9. Very easy to set up.

all works well now.
Just made my first PSK31 qso on the Flex 3k with Digipan 2.0.
I used a guideline from PE1NNZ:
