| It would be great if there was a way for 3rd party plugins to be written for PowerSDR. For example, WSJT, skimmer, SSTV, logging, rotor control, transverter/relay control, etc. software could be ported to a PowerSDR Plugin, allowing for a clean customizable interface for operating a station. I imagine this could be especially useful during contesting, to be able to have different workspaces for different modes or bands, making switching between them as simple as clicking a button. I think this could lead to a whole new dimension of innovation, further seperating SDR from previous generations of transcievers. Is this feasable, or maybe all ready in the works?

I also think this would be a great way to add functionality to the PowerSDR software. I received my Flex-1500 just a couple of days ago, and I was a bit disappointed that digital modes can't be run natively in powersdr without the need to run at least 4 programs:
1: powersdr
2: null modem emulator
3: sound card emulator
4: digital mode software
If there was an ability to add plugins that interface cleanly with the standard front panel, and have direct access to radio functions, it would allow digital modes to be run much more easily, not to mention the rotor/transverter control mentioned above. This would also allow there to be several options for different modes, in that if you only run PSK31, then there can be a PSK31-only plugin.
I'd like to see a plugin system, or the aforementioned features added to PowerSDR natively, though a plugin system would take a lot of the strain off of the developer's backs.

Definitely it will turn into tje new dimension of innovation and this is feasible. So try it once. You will get proper result.
