New Flex 3000, using an external ATU, Vibroplex and Winkeyer connected to Flex front panel.
The transmitted Cw does not follow the audio I hear from Winkeyer speaker, even holding just the dot key on. Reduced power to 5 Watts, tried a common ground cable for both Flex and computer. Would welcome suggestions. Robert (g0who)

Check the CPU utilization %.  Are you are using the internal iambic keyer of the Flex3K?  Had similar problem running Flex3k on a single core eMachine (2GHz Intel Celeron).  CPU went to 100% when iambic keying and output went to pot! Tried dual core laptop (vista), all is well.  Switched desktop to a quad core HP machine and all is much better. CPU <20%.

Single core machine worked ok with external keyer but, quiescent CPU utilization was ~70% leaving no head room for other processes.
